Participation Options & Requirements
Take a break from the everyday to reconnect with yourself and your passion for movement. Our weekend event offers two specialized tracks designed to meet your needs:
Fling Track (Ages 13+): Designed for competitive dancers. Depending on registration, this track may be divided into age and level specific groups.
Fit Track (Ages 18+): A lower-impact experience tailored for teachers, dance parents, and adult dancers.
This is your weekend. All sessions are optional, allowing you to engage as much or as little as you like. We just ask you to let us know, if you are opting out of a session.
Event location
Fling & Fit Wellness Weekend will be hosted in various locales around Clearwater, FL. Our host hotel is in Safety Harbor. The closest airports are Tampa International Airport (TPA) or St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE). All of our event spaces have parking available. We will provide transport between the host hotel and event spaces for those booked through the event room block.

Our daytime dance and movement sessions will be hosted at Dance & Circus Arts of Tampa Bay, the region’s premier 11,000-square-foot training destination. The Clearwater facility offers a world-class environment where tradition meets innovation, featuring four professional dance studios and a state-of-the-art aerial circus room.

Room rates
The Hotel is pleased to confirm the following room rates for this group: $199 single/double occupancy plus applicable taxes. Additional Person/Per Day: $10.00 (3rd and 4th Adult in room – 18 years of age and older). Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (Currently 13%).

Attention: The $30 per day resort fee is waived for all guests that book within the Fling Together Rooms, if you choose to book online you will see this fee attached at the time of making your reservation, however the resort fee will be removed prior to your check in day by the resort. For this reason, if you wish to have the resort fee waived, you must book within the associated room block/rates. If you wish to book your room directly without the fee being temporarily applied, please call Safety Harbor Resort and Spa's in-house reservations department at 727-724-7725 ext 7100 and ask for the Fling Together Rooms.
Additional room block information
CUT OFF DATE: October 5, 2026. After October 5, 2026 and/or once the contracted room block has been picked up in its entirety, the room rate quoted by reservations will be based on the hotel’s current inventory. Each individual guest must make their own reservations by October 5, 2026. They must identify themselves as members of the Group. All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.
Resort Fee
The $30 per day resort fee is waived for all guests that book within the Fling Together Rooms. Resort fee includes: Wireless in-room Internet access; Calls: Unlimited Local, 800 and Credit Card calls from Guest Room. In-Room Amenities: Daily coffee; Use of the Business Center: Internet use (up to 45 minutes per session), copier (up to 20 copies at no charge) and unlimited faxing (excluding International). Spa and Fitness Center: Unlimited use of steam rooms, sauna, whirlpools, co-ed indoor pool and outdoor exercise / lap pool. Unlimited Fitness and Aerobic classes. Unlimited access to cardiovascular and weight training studios, Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms with private lockers, robes, slippers, showers and grooming amenities. (* No one under 16 years of age is allowed into the Spa Facilities)
