FTDT x Virginia Scottish Games

Fling Together Development Team is excited to be teaming up with the dance competition organizers of the 51st Virginia Scottish Games to give an exciting opportunity for our Fling Together Development Team to showcase their talents and promote Highland Dance. The games take place over Labor Day Weekend (August 30th & 31st) at The Plains, VA.

Dancers are welcome to enter the dance competitions, which will take place on Saturday, August 30. The dance show will take place on Sunday, August 31st. FTDT will perform two 25-30min shows at the Highland Dance Stage, which will consist of a few choreographed pieces. The schedule for this is to be confirmed. Depending on registrations we will assign dancers to specific dances and make sure everyone is comfortable with the number of dances they are in along with the competition load. 

Dancers must be current Fling Together Development Team members/mentors. Dancers will be required to participate in at least 2 online rehearsals and should do their best to attend any others as necessary. This opportunity is open to all ages and levels. Dancers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or older dancer/sibling.
