Designed for competitive and performance-focused Highland dancers, this session explores common mental and emotional challenges dancers face, offering practical strategies and supportive tools to help manage pressure, build confidence, and enhance performance. The workshop will include discussion, actionable tips, guided meditation, and relaxation techniques specifically tailored for Highland dancers.
Led by Katie Proffitt of Pressure Pointe Coaching, a former champion Highland dancer and psychologist specializing in performance stress and anxiety, and Kate Love, a wellbeing specialist and instructor in yoga and mindfulness with firsthand experience supporting dancers through the demands of high-level competition, this session offers a unique blend of expert guidance and practical support for both mind and body.
